Friendship (2025)

Directed by Andrew DeYoung
[Rated R] 1hr 40min
★★★★½

Friendship is a comedy film about a man who unexpectedly makes friends with his new neighbor. As their bond deepens, however, they eventually find themselves in situations that put their friendship to the test.

This is one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. Every single joke is absolutely hilarious, and I can’t remember ever laughing this hard in the theater. Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd are excellent in their roles, as they both give very comical performances that are even sincere at times. Not only is the comedy incredibly funny, but it’s also used to deepen the story and strengthen its themes about human connection. As a result, the film has a very substantive narrative that engages on a more emotional level in addition to its already compelling humor.

I highly recommend Friendship to anyone to enjoys comedy films and Tim Robinson’s style of humor. The comedy might not work for everyone, but for those it does, watching this film with others at the theater is an incredible experience.
