Caught Stealing is a comedy crime thriller about a man who inadvertently gets himself involved with dangerous criminals when they come to his apartment building looking for his neighbor. With no other options available, he must continue going deeper into this criminal plot in order to stay alive and keep the people he cares about safe.

This is an entertaining escapade that, while not doing anything particularly unique, does provide a very enjoyable experience. Every aspect of the film is pretty solid, so even though it doesn’t excel in any specific areas, it doesn’t have any major shortcomings either. However, the tone can be a little uneven at times, as the sudden shifts between tension and humor occasionally feel out of place. Despite this, the story remains both intense and amusing throughout much the movie, and it’s very effective in certain key moments.

I recommend Caught Stealing to anyone who enjoys crime thrillers with a lighter tone. It has quite a few twists and turns along the way, so it’s consistently engaging and is simply a fun time at the movies.
