Ne Zha 2 is an animated action adventure fantasy film that follows a demon boy as he attempts to complete various trials in order to save his home from destruction. However, he soon finds himself involved in a much larger plan that threatens the entire world, and he must choose his own fate in order to stop it.
This film is an incredible action-packed blockbuster experience. It contains some of the best 3D animation I’ve ever seen, and it looks absolutely stunning from start to finish. The action is spectacular, and the vivid colors really make the visuals pop. The excellent music and sound design enhance the atmosphere as well, which also contributes to making the narrative highly compelling. As a result, everything perfectly ties together to create a beautiful presentation that elevates the story and its themes. Although there are times when the film starts to feel a little long, there was never a point where I wanted it to end. It’s just so entertaining with great characters and fantastic action scenes that it remains engaging throughout the entire runtime.
I highly recommend Ne Zha 2 to anyone who enjoys epic action films and animation. It’s an absolute blast that easily surpasses most of the recent animated films made by major American studios, so it’s no surprise that it has become the highest grossing animated film of all time worldwide. I also recommend watching the first Ne Zha film as this is a direct continuation of that story, but the sequel does give a brief recap at the beginning, so it isn’t entirely necessary to watch beforehand. Either way, Ne Zha 2 is definitely worth seeing at a theater to experience all its amazing visuals and audio in the best format possible.
